It seems as though more and more car manufacturers are focusing on what’s inside the car more than the outside nowadays. With technology moving as such a fast rate, plenty of automakers are hoping to be the biggest and the best with their in-car offerings. It looks like the 2021 Cadillac Escalade is going to prove that bigger really is better with their touchscreen.

Doubling Up
According to insiders, the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will have a massive infotainment screen, which could be double the size of the current 8-inch unit you’ll find in their cars already. This will put it head to head with the kind of panels and monitors you’d find in a Tesla. However, it’s not just the size that matters – it’s what you do with it that counts.
Getting An Upgrade
The unnamed source who spoke to Cadillac Society said that it wasn’t just improving the size of the touchscreen. It will have a rotary controller, like other Cadillac models, but the updated software will make this infotainment system far more intelligent. The center screen would allegedly be able to communicate with a newer and more sophisticated cluster of digital instruments that will be found in the 2021 Cadillac Escalade.

Little While To Wait
Of course, we’ve got a little while to wait before we can get our hands on one… The clue is in the name! There have been plenty of spy shots leaked over the last few weeks, showing that the 2021 Caddy will still be tough and chiseled looking… Just with far more technology inside!
At the moment, it’s not clear with the 2021 Cadillac Escalade will come with the new, huge touchscreen as standard or whether it will be an added extra. Either way, we can’t wait to see what they pull out of the bag.
After Hollywood’s Most Expensive Divorce, Harrison Ford ‘Finally Found’ His Love
Harrison Ford is reputably one of Hollywood’s most private actors, guarding much of his personal life, so here are a few things you might not know about him.
Married Three Times
Ford has been married three time. Ford’s first marriage, to his sweetheart Mary Marquardt, lasted from 1964 for 15 years. His second marriage, to screenwriter Melissa Mathison, lasted from 1983 to 2004.

His current marriage, to actress Calista Flockhart, started in 2010 and is still going strong today.
Most Expensive Divorce
Ford once held the unfortunate distinction of having the most expensive divorce in Hollywood’s history when he and Melissa Mathison called it quits. The couple spent two decades together, six years of which they were married.

The couple also had two kids together. They had no prenup in place and Mathison reportedly received $85 million. Mathison was a screenwriter best known for E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial. Their divorce settlement also entitled her to royalties from movies he made while they were married.
Not-So-Secret Affair
Carrie Fisher confessed in 2016 that she and Ford had an illicit affair on set.

At the time, Carrie was also only 19, and Ford was 33 and married with two children. Ford, for his part, was given warning about her reveal, and mostly declined to comment on the affair.
Up All Night
Carrie Fisher said that one night she and Ford had the opportunity to party with The Rolling Stones.

But they had an early start for The Empire Strikes Back the next day, so instead of being hungover, they stayed awake all night and came to work intoxicated.
Favorite Role
Of all the many characters he has played, he repeatedly cites Indiana Jones as both the one he is most proud of, as well as his favorite.

When asked who he would choose as his replacement to play the legendary archeologist, Ford said “Nobody is going to be Indiana Jones. I’m Indiana Jones.”
He Built His Own House
Ford constructed himself a white ranch house in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and lived in it.

The house contains flawlessly executed cabinetry and windows framing stunning views of the majestic mountain range.
Scar Face
Ford has a visible scar on his chin that he acquired back in 1968 when he attempted to attach his seatbelt while driving and lost control, resulting in him hitting a telephone pole and sustaining an injury.

The scar on Ford’s chin has been acknowledged in two films – The Last Crusade and Working Girl.
Emergency Crash
Ford was rushed to the hospital after the engine in the plane he was flying caused him to crash.

He suffered a shattered ankle and pelvis, broken back, and head trauma. His wife, Calista Flockhart, was by his side in the hospital every day and even supported his decision to fly again after recovering.
Hero Pilot
As a fully qualified helicopter pilot, Ford is not just an action hero on-screen, as he has used his helicopter for good numerous times.

He once took to the air to locate and rescue injured hiker Sarah George near his Idaho ranch. Other incidents have seen him rescue Boy Scouts who have gotten lost.
Piercing
Ford got his ear pierced back when he was 55 years old. Back in 1997, Ford was having lunch with his friends, when he noticed he was the odd man out when it came to earrings.

Later that day, he went with his wife and got his ear pierced.
A Private Relationship
Ford and Flockhart started dating in 2002. He popped the question on Valentine’s Day weekend in 2009.

He is 22 years older than she is, but they say this doesn’t affect their relationship. They are a notoriously private couple and married in a secret ceremony in 2010.
Real Life Hero
Ford witnessed a car roll off the highway in California in 2017, and immediately jumped in to help.

A few others were also in the area and joined him as he assisted the driver, got him safely out of the vehicle, and waited for the paramedics to arrive.
Iconic Improviser
One of the most memorable lines in the Star Wars franchise is when Han Solo says, “I know” after Princess Leia reveals to him that, “I love you.”

Ford famously improvised this line on the spot.
False Teeth
Ford has false dentures. He lost some of his real teeth when an action stunt went wrong for a TV show, and he fell on his teeth.

Two were pulled by a dentist after some others were damaged during the incident.
Declined Offers
It’s common for actors to turn down parts offered to them, and Ford is no exception.

For the duration of his career, Ford had the opportunity to be in numerous films, such as Vanilla Sky, The Perfect Storm, and The Patriot, but declined for different reasons.
Sacrificing Himself
Harrison Ford always felt that Han Solo should die in the original Star Wars. He believed that Han Solo needed to sacrifice himself for the greater good.

Ford ultimately got his request in Star Wars: The Force Awakens when he was killed by his son Ben Solo, who became Kylo Ren.
Ford As A Carpenter
After Ford moved to LA to pursue an acting career, he struggled to get any significant roles.

So, to pay the bills and provide for his family, he decided to teach himself carpentry.
Conservation Action
In honor of his conservation work, Ford has a species of Central American ant (Peidole harrisonfordi) and spider (Calponia Harrisonfordi) named after him.

Ford’s passion for wildlife conservation is evident and actionable, including extensive work both in the field and in the boardroom.
Japanese Commercials
Ford has appeared in Japanese commercials endorsing various products, most notably Kirin Lager, a Japanese beverage.

And all thanks to the Internet, these commercials are no longer exclusive to Japan, as you can see them on YouTube.
Finding Stardom
Before finding stardom with leading roles in groundbreaking movies, Ford started at the bottom.

When he first came to LA, he signed up at the New Talent Program at Columbia Pictures, being paid $150 a week and received small roles in various projects.
Late Discovery
Ford got into acting late and discovered his passion for it in a throwaway class in college.

Ford pursued a degree in English and philosophy and only took a drama class to get over his shyness. Fortunately for him, he ended up taking the class seriously.
Model Pilot
Since 1992, Ford has flown over 1 million youngsters.

He was elected as the chairman of Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) Young Eagles Program in 2004 where he would teach children to fly.
On Behalf Of
Back in 2003, Ford accepted the Oscar for “Best Director” on behalf of Roman Polanski.

Polanski is a fugitive from U.S. justice since escaping the country in 1978, so he wasn’t present at the awards ceremony.
