Toyota Recently-Unveiled EV Sports Cars Promises to Be an Awesome Ride

Toyota’s electric cars are a concept that is still relatively new to the brand, but it looks like they’re all set to branch out more. And now the automobile company has debuted a new concept car dubbed the FT-se at its Tokyo motor show.

The FT-se will feature two models, the FT-se sports car and the FT-3e SUV. Here’s everything you need to know about the two models!

The FT-3E SUV

The five-seater SUV has been designed with the help of AI according to Toyota. It boasts of clean, aero-optimized lines, and is made to be as simple as possible. The new alloy wheel design will match the color of the bodywork.

The new EV will also feature a squared-off paneling and a rear light bar across the bumper. Toyota is also adding a unique feature on its Electric SUVs, namely a light pattern along the door sills. The body will also feature a digital display which will provide information like cabin temperature, battery percentage, and air quality.

The FT-Se Sports Car

The two-seater EV is a small and sleek vehicle that reportedly looks like it’s ready for production. Toyota has stated that both the sports car and the SUV will share some major components. The car is low and wide, with the wheels pushed in the far corners of the bodywork, and will feature dual engines for better performance.

Toyota also promised interiors that consist of lower instrument panels and knee pads. The unveiling of the two cars together indicates the company’s next-generation EV platform. Chairman of the company Akio Toyoda promised his loyal customers that Toyota would have three brothers in the sports car family. GR86 and Supra already hold the first two positions, and it seems like with this addition, the long-held statement will finally be true. We look forward to seeing their real-life showcase!
