Mercedes-Benz Elevates Blade’s Luxury Travel Experience at JFK Airport
In a stride toward unparalleled luxury travel, Mercedes-Benz has joined forces with Blade, the urban air transport service, becoming its official automotive partner, adding premium car travel to its helicopter and seaplane offering.
Luxury in the Air and on the Ground
Mercedes-Benz, renowned for its commitment to luxury experiences, extends its legacy through this partnership. Travelers using Blade’s services can now enjoy the elegance of Maybachs for inner-airport transfers, promising a best-in-class travel experience.
Monique Harrison, Head of Brand Marketing at Mercedes-Benz U.S., expressed excitement about transforming luxury travel in NYC with Blade. It is pretty cool, to be fair.
Booking the Extravagance
Blade enthusiasts may be used to flying their way around the city, but now they can book a trip in a Mercedes car. It has to be cheaper than the usual pricing.
With fares starting at $195, passengers can hop on a Blade helicopter from the city to JFK or Newark International Airport, with an option to charter a private flight for up to six people at $1,875. Just… get a cab instead?
Seamless Transfers and Meet-and-Greet Upgrades
Included in the Blade flight cost, guests can schedule their inner-airport transfer, ensuring a smooth transition to their commercial terminal in the booked Maybach.
Upon return, a text from Blade guides passengers to their awaiting Maybach at the arrivals terminal of the airport. For an added touch of luxury, the meet-and-greet service upgrade offers a representative to assist from baggage claim to the awaiting car.
Luxurious Lounges for Blade Connoisseurs
Blade patrons are also welcome to indulge in the private lounges strategically located on West 30th Street, East 34th Street, and Newark Airport.
This collaboration marks a significant leap forward in merging the opulence of Mercedes-Benz with Blade’s vision for a new era of elevated travel. It’s not just a ride; it’s an experience redefined by two icons in luxury travel.
