These guys have been hitting the headlines recently for their modified Nissan GT-R which features spoilers on pretty much every available surface. But what’s the point? Surely no car needs that many aerodynamic additions… Right?

For those who already know a little bit about the Nissan GT-R, you’ll be aware that it already has some impressive stats. However, Franco Scribante Racing have decided to upgrade the 562bhp to a whopping 1,600bhp! With all that power under the bonnet, it makes sense that they might need a little bit of extra help to keep the car on the road. It’s thought that the spoilers, which are located on the back and front of the vehicle, will help do just that. In fact, the front of the GT-R has an F1-style splitter and spoiler that will eradicate all chances of understeer.

Taking On The Hillclimb

Franco Scribante will be putting their positively insane GT-R to the test very soon in South Africa, during the Jaguar Simola Hillclimb. Only time will tell whether there are just one-too-many spoilers on the suped up Nissan. For now, all we can do is stare in awe at the photos the racing team have taken.
