35 Inconsiderate Plane Passengers That Made Flying Unbearable

While only a select number of people in the world learn how to fly, most birds have the innate ability from the early stages of their life. For some strange reason though, passengers started to freak out when they saw this woman hanging out with her pet parrot during a flight home.

Surely enough, they got even more stressed out when, halfway through the flight, the parrot decided to escape the clutches of its owner to fly up and down the aisle.

There are some passengers out there who have no sensitivity when it comes to where they can put their stuff. This woman completely ignored the fact that the man behind her had a screen he could watch TV on, just like the one she was using!

Nevertheless, she had the audacity to hang her jacket on her seat, even though the bulk of it covered half of the other passenger’s screen. Next time, just put it on your lap, please.

Some people just don’t have enough space during the flight and take it upon themselves to invade the space of passengers sitting next to them. Take this guy, for example, who had way too much on his plate during his flight.

It seems like one laptop simply wasn’t enough for him. He needed one for work purposes and an iPad to watch the western comedy classic Blazing Saddles. Everything would have been fine had he asked to use this person’s fold-out table in advance…

The longer you are with someone, the more used you get to their strange habits and peculiar behavior. This couple is a prime example and proves that no matter where they are, they are completely comfortable being next to one another, warts and all.

While the husband is able to fall asleep in a conventional position, the only way the wife can get comfortable while sleeping is by kicking her feet up in the air. Now that’s a match made in heaven, literally.

So you’ve just got comfortable. You’re ready for that long haul flight and you’ve got that movie ready to watch when the coast is clear to use electric appliances. But then, someone with long hair comes along and plants their locks over the back of their seat.

We don’t know if it was a man or a woman. At this stage, who cares? What matters is you have to look at that person’s hair for the next five-plus hours. Now that’s entertainment.

This guy took his huge cello on the plane and whenever the flight attendants passed by, they couldn’t help but ask if that was necessary. However, the passenger had bought two seats, one for himself and one for the cello. To be fair, this person might actually be within their rights to do this.

At the end of the day, there have been many stories of airlines mishandling people’s musical instruments and setting them back a small fortune. This solves that problem.

Brushing one’s teeth seems like an activity that wouldn’t annoy others. At the end of the day, everyone is expected to brush twice a day in order to keep their dentures nice and white.

There is a chance that this guy boarded a plane very early in the morning and simply didn’t have time to brush his teeth until he was up in the air. At any rate, some passengers were annoyed by this. Despite their best efforts to tell him to stop, the guy kept brushing away.

While there are many kinds of leisure that one can enjoy partaking during a flight, we never thought that there would be facilities or even room on a plane to perform any serious kind of exercise. And yet, this guy managed to find some space on the plane where he could do some press-ups.

The only problem with that it is at the front of the plane where the cabin crew performs a lot of their duties. Surely you could just wait until you’re on land…

It’s simply reality – many people build up bad odors in their shoes. Sweat builds up and subsequentially, bad smells will follow. This passenger is totally aware of this and at the best of times, he can’t stand the smell of his own shoes. In fact, he can smell it while he’s wearing them.

As a result, he thought of an ingenious method to alleviate this problem while he was on a plane. He simply used his personal air conditioner to blow out the odors…

There are certain things you can do on a plane when it comes to “body maintenance.” However, cutting your toenails isn’t one of them. Doing this in public was never acceptable, so why would one think that it is OK all of a sudden to do it in a confined space – on a plane?

Not only is it annoying for the passenger sitting next to you, but it is also frustrating for the people who have to clean it up after you have left the plane.

Passengers have been known to display all kinds of erratic behavior when it comes to the exit doors on planes. Some desperately want to be reassured that there is no way that any doors on the vehicle can be opened during flight, which is perfectly justified.

But for the adults out there, card games are the way to go while sitting out a five-hour-long flight. Of course, most normal people play card games, or any computer game, for that matter, with their hands – not their feet…

It is perfectly normal to see passengers on a plane do some makeshift stuff with their clothes. They might use a sweater as a pillow, or a jacket as a blanket. Never in our lives though have we seen a passenger take out their wet laundry on a plane and hang it out to dry.

And yet, that’s exactly what this person did. Not only did they hang up a green shirt, but they also put their underwear on top of a seat!

Seeing someone else’s feet while on a plane is bad enough. To see that person’s feet stretch out into your personal space is also pretty bad. But for that person’s feet to be dirty and most likely, stinky, it should be an arrestable offense.

It looks as if this person hasn’t washed their feet in years and now they have the audacity to share their foulness with other passengers? This guy should be sent straight to smelly feet prison, for sure.

How on earth did this person manage to do a 180 and have their feet face up toward the heavens? Whatever the case might be, there is no denying that what this guy was doing was bound to annoy a number of passengers on this flight.

Do people really need to sleep like this in order to get comfortable? When was the last time that you slept in this position at home? Just sleep while sitting like every other normal person and we won’t have to share these photos ever again!

Some passengers get way too comfortable when they are on a flight. While some like to put up their feet, kick back and express new levels of casual behavior that they wouldn’t even display at home, some like to abuse the baggage compartment to their own advantage.

In theory, we’d like to think that we all keep that playful side and are able to open up to kids who just want to play. This kid was more than happy to show off their squeaky toy to a complete stranger while on a flight. We can’t imagine this passenger being that responsive to the playful gesture.

However, he must have found it amusing enough to take a photo of it and share it on social media. At any rate, it’s a funny image.

There is absolutely no crime in eating on a plane. Whether it is a light snack or a full-on meal, most people will probably consume something when they are up in the air. This woman is no exception, with her own exquisite dinner provided by the airline.

Upon first glance, they assumed that they were sort of toy that they could pull and who knows? Maybe it would make a noise. Of course, the man who sported the dreads did make a noise afterward.

Who thought that they would end up on the same flight as Peter Parker himself, Spider-Man? We’d be surprised if anyone on this flight was actually convinced that the man inside this costume was actually the man who shoots webs from his hands.

This guy is obviously just trying to get attention. Either that or he is currently celebrating Halloween while up in the air. At least these passengers can feel at ease knowing that Spidey will save the day…

Sometimes, it might be the person taking the photo who is being the annoying one. Take this person for example, who was starstruck when they realized that they were sitting directly to comedian/actor Nick Offerman.

You could go as far as to say that this person was acting potty by placing a potty seat in the corner of the plane during a flight. Whoever thought that this would be a fair thing to do, especially when passengers have to smell whatever ends up in it?!

Sitting behind someone who is rude enough to hang their hair over the seat like this is bad enough. And we have already shown an example of someone doing this earlier on in the article. However, we couldn’t help but include this photo of the same situation.

What makes this image even more epic though is the person’s reaction. We can’t exactly tell whether or not it’s a genuine reaction. Either way, we’re sure that he wasn’t entirely comfortable with it.

We know that people get excited when Thanksgiving comes along and everyone is rushing back to their homes to carve up some turkey. Never in our lives though have we actually seen someone take a living member of the poultry family aboard a plane.

This person got the fright of their lives when a turkey sprung up from nowhere and started to give them hell. Some passengers haven’t heard of a cargo hold. That’s where many animals are supposed to go!

It’s perfectly acceptable to maintain your facial skincare and ensure that you don’t have any outstanding blemishes. Who hasn’t gone to town on some nasty zit that doesn’t want to go away?
