2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Could Be Bargain SUV Of The Year

Often considered as the cheaper version of Porsche Cayenne Turbo, the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 has had a love-hate relationship amongst car enthusiasts. Now though, the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk has settled the debate, once and for all, and is now held in the same esteem.

Despite being in limited production, enthusiasts will be excited to learn that the Trackhawk has the exact same engine as other powerhouses such as the Charger SRT Hellcat and the Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.

With a huge 6.2-litre V8 and 707 horsepower, this is one big car that packs an even bigger punch. It is also believed that the Trackhawk can reach 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. Pretty incredible stuff. Being so fast for such a big vehicle, it should come as no surprise that the Trackhawk is extremely loud when the peddle is to the metal. However, this isn’t to say that this Jeep is absolutely flawless. Because it isn’t.

While it’s difficult to tell the difference, in appearance, at least, between the Trackhawk and the SRT, it’s still not going to stop customers from turning up and purchasing the darn thing. As all previous Cherokees have exhibited, the Trackhawk is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. With a stunning cockpit and black and red leather covering the interior from head to toe, this is a beauty that dresses its best all year round.

It also has all the amenities you’d come to expect from this sort of Jeep, with heated and ventilated seats, a heated steering wheel, and a fancy touchscreen.

Also, the aesthetics of the car are a dream. Close the door, and the even the sound it makes is similar to a smaller car. Packed full of surprises, the Trackhawk is a Jeep that is bound to turn a few heads and will ultimately prove to be the bargain SUV of the year.
